BOLINGBROOK – Through a recent generous donation from Midland Bank, the Community Service Council of Northern Will County will be able to expand services for local residents.
“This is the first time we are partnering with Midland Bank and we are thrilled they want to help our agency,” said Bob Kalnicky, executive director of the Community Service Council of Northern Will County. “This $5,000 donation from Midland will help us expand outreach throughout Will County to bring housing and financial counseling services to those in need.”
According to Dan Stevenson, senior vice president of Midland Bank, the institution’s corporate and employee giving programs help support a wide range of community organizations that provide for the improvement of general welfare, education and health.
“At Midland, we believe successful homeownership is the foundation of strong, sustainable communities,” Stevenson said. “We’re excited to partner with Community Service Council of Northern Will County to help empower first-time homeowners with the knowledge and resources needed to make sound financial decisions.” The CSC offers a wide variety of classes on housing counseling including pre-mortgage and first time buyers. The council also offers services to employers such as employer-assisted housing and employee assistance programs. The CSC is very thankful for the generous contribution,” Kalnicky added. “We look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Midland Bank.”
